eLankidetza-Basque Agency for Cooperation and Solidarity - Basque Government

eLankidetza - Basque Agency for Cooperation and Solidarity - is the public entity of the Basque Government responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, implementing, and evaluating the cooperation and solidarity policy of the public sector of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. We channel international solidarity and join the efforts of multiple local and international stakeholders in promoting sustainable human development and combating poverty and inequality. We aspire to help foster a critical and active citizenry, one that, from the Basque Country, is committed to the common good, co-responsibility, and solidarity among peoples. To this end, we promote and support diverse stakeholders from the South and the North, emphasizing coordination, coherence, and the generation of knowledge and mutual learning. We also do so by placing special emphasis on gender equity, eco-social sustainability, human rights, capacity building, participation and organization, and the local-global link.
