FIDH (International Federation for Human Rights) is an international human rights NGO federating 188 organisations from 116 countries. FIDH takes action for the protection of victims of human rights violations, for the prevention of violations and to bring perpetrators to justice. The FIDH has the general mandate to defend all the rights laid down in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, including civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.
