Refuge University Initiative

An initiative by Humsn Rights Defenders, refugees and displaced persons as a self-help approach and facilitated by the Paul Awan Initiative for Development. It is aim is to protect HRDs in conflict-affected places and provide alternative means of education to refugees and those displaced as a result of conflicts. As collective of human rights defenders, refugees, and displaced persons Refuge University Initiative falls within the category of highlighted by ProtectDefenders.eu as "not having the possibility to register in their countries of operation" (see: https://protectdefenders.eu/supporting-organisations/)
